   - Building facades and cladding
   - Monuments and statues

Marble:
   - Flooring tiles and slabs
   - Countertops and vanity tops
   - Sculptures and decorative pieces
   - Building exteriors and facades

Limestone:
   - Flooring tiles and pavers
   - Wall cladding and veneers
   - Building blocks and bricks
   - Architectural details like columns and      balusters

Sandstone:
   - Wall cladding and veneers
   - Paving stones and pathways
   - Garden ornaments and scuulptures
   - Architectural details such as arches and lintels

Slate:

   - Roofing tiles and shingles

    - Flooring tiles and slabs

   - Wall cladding and veneers

   - Billiard tables and chalkboards

Mining of stone typically involves the following steps:

Exploration : This phase involves identifying potential quarry sites through geological surveys, satellite imagery, and other exploration techniques. Geologists assess the quality and quantity of stone deposits.

Site Preparation:  Once a suitable quarry site is identified, the area is prepared for mining operations. This may involve clearing vegetation, removing topsoil, and creating access roads for machinery and transportation.

Drilling and Blasting : In most cases, drilling and blasting are used to extract the stone from the quarry. Holes are drilled into the rock using specialized equipment, and explosives are inserted into the holes. The explosives are then detonated to break the rock into manageable pieces.

Excavation : After blasting, the broken rock, or "shot rock," is excavated using heavy machinery such as excavators, loaders, and haul trucks. The broken rock is transported to a processing plant or stockpile for further treatment.

Processing : At the processing plant, the stone undergoes various processes to prepare it for use in construction or other applications. This may include crushing, screening, washing, and sorting the stone into different sizes and grades.

Transportation : Once processed, the stone is transported to its destination, which may be a construction site, manufacturing facility, or distribution center. Transportation methods can vary depending on the distance and logistics involved, with options including trucks, railroads, and ships.

Reclamation : After the stone has been extracted, efforts are made to rehabilitate the quarry site and minimize its environmental impact. This often involves regrading the land, restoring vegetation, and implementing erosion control measures to restore the site to a natural or usable condition.

Throughout the mining process, safety measures are implemented to protect workers and minimize environmental impacts. Additionally, regulations and permits may be required to ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards.

These materials are utilized in various industries, including construction, interior design, landscaping, and art and sculpture.
